MEXICAN SUGAR: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
Mexican Sugar's "why" is in changing perceptions around Mexican culture, to showcase its beauty and vibrancy. In this 3 day activation with various ticketed experiences, creative depicted the mysterious, reverent, and celebratory nature of this holiday. Staying true to the cultural traditions and symbolism, I balanced this with the sultry, artful vibe of the brand. Full creative encompassed promotional digital assets/print collateral and day-of collateral and signage. Below features a web banner, a 3-email series, and select collateral.
DICKEY'S BARBECUE PIT: "ENDLESS SAUCEABILITIES"
While Art Director for Dickey's Barbecue, I named and design a campaign that empowered customers to create their own unique barbecue experience with flavor combinations by adding sauces & toppers. Design included a suite of collateral, social ads, and barbecue sauce bottle/caddy design featuring sandwich build ideas. With a purposefully grunge, energetic feel— this became the updated look & feel of the Dickey's brand.
"DISCOVER YOUR INNER GINGER"
While enrolled at TWU, I had the opportunity to work with one of my favorite brands, The Ginger People™. I created series of 3 print ads with prior market research. In getting to speak to their marketing manager, I learned about their mascot "Gingy" is a brand character often seen on the packaging helping himself to ginger candies; he was what he ate. This inspired a personified interpretation on each of the candies, to elude to it's intense ginger flavor.
